Climate Change: Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot - and Not in a Good Way

How many of you are familiar with the greenhouse effect? Regretfully, we’re not talking about your grandad’s back garden here. In simple terms, gases that are released into the atmosphere – whether they’re naturally released or man-made – from a sort of barrier around the Earth. When heat comes from the sun and bounces back off the Earth’s surface, it gets stuck. The gases in the barrier are impenetrable. Ultimately, this results in climate change as the temperature rises – like a greenhouse. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
